ACS Local Section Volunteer Nominations Closed

The ACS Brazosport Section is proud to sponsor and celebrate the Local Section Volunteer of the Year Award, to individuals who have significant involvement in science/chemistry education outside of the nominee’s normal job responsibilities.

ELIGIBILITY:

The nominee must be a resident of Brazosport County at the time of nomination, must not be a winner of this award in the past 10 years, and must be a member of the American Chemical Society.

Nominations must be submitted by the nominator.

REQUIRED NOMINATION COMPONENTS: 

• At least two supporting letters from colleagues (why the nominator feels the nominee is deserving of the award with specific supporting examples).  

• Resume (or equivalent)

RECOMMENDED NOMINATION COMPONENTS:

• Publications and Patents list (where applicable) 

• Additional letters of support from students, parents, community members, administrators (as appropriate)
