Congratulations to the 2025 Excellence in Science Teaching Award Winner!

The Brazosport Section of the American Chemical Society would like to congratulate Emilee Cavazos (Shadow Creek High School) as the recipient of the 2025 Excellence in Science Teaching Award!

The award recognizes her commitment to inspiring and nurturing young minds in STEM fields and celebrates her dedication, passion, and outstanding contributions to science education.

Congratulations to all the nominees and award winner. The award winner will receive a one-year membership in the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT) and $500 recognition award. We look forward to celebrating the awardee at the ACS Awards Banquet in 2026!
